Free spins run on up to four clocks: when you can claim, how long the spins last, the wagering deadline and when to ask for the payout. Miss one and the winnings can vanish. Here are twelve real examples.
This is when you can redeem the code. Uptown Aces' OCT-PICKS, for example, can be redeemed from 8 to 31 October 2026. It doesn't give you fresh playing time after the last claim day.
A separate clock can start the moment the spins land. Note the number of spins, the game and the time your account shows next to them.
If the winnings carry wagering, find out when that clock starts and ends. Canada777 gives 7 days for KKA. Finishing the spins doesn't usually restart it.
Some casinos want a withdrawal request by a set date. Fair Go's terms want one within 150 days of redeeming the coupon. Payment processing and ID checks are separate steps.
There's no single expiry period for every free spin offer. Save the terms and the timer in your account before you start. This page can't see your account, switch on a bonus or confirm a payout.
Open an example to see how the clock works. Where a casino is named, the rule comes from its own offer page or terms. The times are examples in UTC, not your account's timer.
Uptown Aces' OCT-PICKS can be redeemed from 8 to 31 October 2026. That's a claim window. Without a closing hour and time zone, "31 October" doesn't tell you the safe cut-off, and it doesn't promise 7 days of play after you claim.
Ripper's 70RIPPER spins expire 48 hours after redemption. Redeem at 14:00 UTC on 18 October 2026 and they end at 14:00 UTC on 20 October. That's not midnight at the end of the 20th, so don't count on the extra hours.
Say a 24-hour timer starts at 23:30 UTC on 18 October. It ends at 23:30 UTC on 19 October. Reading "tomorrow" as the following midnight would give you half an hour the rule doesn't.
Yabby gives 100YA players 7 days from entering the code. Enter it at 14:00 UTC on 18 October and, counted as 168 hours, you're done at 14:00 UTC on 25 October. If a casino says "seven calendar days", ask how it counts the last day.
Some terms start a fresh period when spin winnings turn into a bonus balance. If that's 72 hours from 13:00 UTC on 20 October, you have until 13:00 UTC on 23 October. Only count on it if the terms say so, not just because your spins finished.
If one clock covers both the spins and the wagering and it ends at 14:00 UTC, finishing the spins at 13:50 leaves you 10 minutes to wager. That's not enough, so start early or skip the offer rather than rushing big bets.
At 12:00 UTC on 20 October, a 14:00 UTC deadline is two hours away. Put both times in the same time zone before you subtract, or you'll be an hour or more out.
Depositing at 13:00 UTC doesn't push back a 14:00 UTC bonus deadline. Yabby's US$20 verification deposit, for example, has its own 7-day window. A deposit can also use up your first-deposit bonus, so check the terms before you pay.
If the casino agrees to extend your deadline, keep the dated message, the bonus name and the new time with its time zone. A reply saying "we're looking into it" doesn't change your timer.
If the terms use UTC−06:00, then 14:00 UTC on 18 October is 08:00 on 18 October at that offset. The sum is easy. What it can't tell you is which time zone the casino uses, so ask.
"Valid until 31 October" with no hour or zone leaves the cut-off unclear. Ask the casino for the exact time instead of assuming 23:59 where you live, and claim a day early if you can't get an answer.
An ID review in progress doesn't mean your wagering or withdrawal deadline is on hold. Ask which step has to be done on time and whether the casino has paused the timer for you. Never send ID documents to this guide.
When you're not sure, the best next step is a precise written question to the casino. Don't guess a deadline, and don't make an extra payment hoping it buys you more time.
A date on its own doesn’t cover every stage of a bonus. Save the exact wording in your account before you play.

"After redemption", "after crediting", "after the last spin" and "after conversion to a bonus balance" are four different moments. Ripper's spins, for example, run 48 hours from redemption. Write down which moment your offer uses and the exact time in your account.
A promotion's public end date isn't the same as the expiry of a bonus you already hold. An offer ending today doesn't tell you on its own whether your balance ends today or later, so check the bonus panel.
Keep the date, the hour and the time zone or offset. Don't turn a date-only deadline into 23:59 where you live. If the website and your account disagree, screenshot both and ask the casino which one applies to your bonus.
Hours and calendar days work differently. The examples above count in exact hours so the sums are clear, but a casino can count "7 days" by calendar date, so ask if it matters.
One bonus can have a wagering deadline and a separate deadline to ask for the payout. Fair Go's terms, for instance, want a withdrawal request within 150 days of redeeming the coupon. A request, an approval and a paid withdrawal are three different events, so check which one the terms mean.
ID checks, payment minimums and a later verification deposit can still apply. The verification deposit guide walks through real US examples, like Yabby's 7-day window for its US$20 deposit.
A short timer doesn't loosen the spin stake, the maximum bet, how much each game counts or the excluded games. The cashout cap is a separate limit again.
If the time left makes a bonus a bad deal, leave it. Raising your bets or adding a deposit to beat the clock doesn't extend it, and a bet over the limit can cost you the winnings.
Write the deadline down and ask a precise question, rather than hoping for an extension.
Write down the casino, the bonus name, the code, when it was redeemed or credited, the game, and the deadlines for the spins, the wagering and the withdrawal request. Put the time zone next to every time.
Screenshot the terms, the timer in your account and any message agreeing an extension. That gives support something specific to check, without you posting your account details or ID anywhere.
Try this: "For the bonus in my account, what date, time and time zone do the spins and the wagering end? Is there a separate deadline to request a withdrawal, and does ID review pause either one?"
Keep the answer with your screenshots. Asking for an extension isn't the same as getting one, and a reply about payment times doesn't always cover bonus expiry.
Check which balance changed and which rule the casino used before you deposit again. Ask support for the exact time it applied and whether it can restore the bonus or give you more time. An outage doesn't mean an automatic extension.
Keep dated evidence of the problem and use the casino's own complaints process if you need to. We can't contact support or restore a bonus for you, but a clear record makes your case far stronger.
Keep each start time, exact deadline and the action it needs together with the bonus it belongs to.
Read the terms in your account before the first spin. If the spin deadline, the wagering deadline or the withdrawal cut-off is missing, ask for the exact date, time and time zone.
A timer doesn't mean your country, game or account qualifies. Use the real offer rules and your real details when you register, or the deadline won't matter because the winnings get voided.
Ask whether an extension covers the spins, the wagering, the withdrawal request or more than one of them. Get the new deadline for each step it covers, in writing.
Never send account details or ID to this guide. Use the casino's own support and document upload, so your details stay between you and the casino.
Our editorial tip
A short window doesn't change the max bet, the games that count or the payout rules. If the timing doesn't suit you, leave the bonus unused. There'll be another one.
Ripper's 70RIPPER offer page says the 70 spins expire 48 hours after redemption, with 60x wagering and a $180 cap. That clock runs from redemption, so there's no fresh 48 hours after your last spin. The Ripper review has the full offer rules.
Fair Go's general terms want at least one withdrawal started within 150 days of redeeming the coupon. That's a payout request deadline, not 150 days to play every free spin bonus. The Fair Go review keeps the bonus rules and the payout rules apart.
These examples show how different clocks are worded. They don't tell you whether your country or account qualifies, whether a bonus will switch on or whether a payout will go through. Check the exact offer in your account.
Compare free spins by country to find offers for your market, and keep withdrawal limits and bonus cashout caps separate from the deadline itself.
It depends on the casino. Ripper's 70RIPPER spins last 48 hours from redemption, Yabby gives 7 days from entering 100YA, and Canada777 gives 7 days for KKA wagering. Check the claim, spin, wagering and withdrawal deadlines for your bonus.
Not on its own. The window to claim a code and the rules on a bonus you already hold can be separate. Check your bonus panel rather than treating one date as the answer to every step.
Only if the terms say so. Finishing the spins, turning winnings into a bonus and finishing the wagering are different moments, so don't assume a fresh clock because your balance changed.
Count 48 hours from the moment you redeem the code. Redeem at 14:00 UTC on 18 October and the spins end at 14:00 UTC on 20 October. That's how Ripper's 70RIPPER spins work.
The one in the terms for your bonus. If only a date is shown, ask the casino for the exact hour and time zone. Don't assume your own local midnight.
Don't assume it does. Ask whether the spin, wagering or withdrawal deadline is on hold while your documents are checked, and keep the answer in writing.
No. A payment doesn't move a bonus deadline on its own. It can also use up your first-deposit bonus, so read the terms before you pay.
Ask the casino which rule and time it applied and whether it can restore the bonus or give you more time. Keep your screenshots and any proof of a technical problem. It's never guaranteed.
No. They're examples you can open and close. They can't see your account, switch on a bonus, place a bet or confirm a live timer.
